Newtons first law states that objects at rest or in motion stay at rest or in motion. The objects in the universe are lazy. In this comic strip the Garfield is exercising the first law. There is no outside force great enough to put Garfield in motion.
Your cartoon is a great example of how a body in motion will stay in motion, as well as a body at rest will stay at rest. The cartoon is very simple explaining the law very simply which is helpful with non familiar viewers. Your choice did a great job in explaining the topic well done.
