Torque



Torque is the product of Force and the length of the Lever Arm. The farther the Lever Arm is from the axis of rotation less Force is required to produce the same amount of Torque if the Lever Arm was closer to the axis of rotation and there was a large Force. One cannot create Torque without the other. When producing Torque the Force will always be moving perpendicular to the Lever Arm.
